The piano is alright, needs a bit of work. I like Luna, but what really makes it shine is the Neve Summing and that Moog plugin. Not much of an issue in Reason/Logic/whatever if you've got the buffer set really low and your sample rate is high, and plug in things that cause huge latency (like Ampex etc) after you're done recording, not before. There's no buffer setting, it's always running at the least latency it can. THEN you start playing it, but there's still no latency because it automatically switches things off and on. You put tape sat and a Neve EQ/Comp on it. It does it all automatically without the user having to think about anything, is really it's main strength. I paid for everything I own out of my pocket so this is straight no chaser. All you need is a UAD interface and LUNA is free.

as I know there are others that suffer like I do with heavy latency.

I am so excited about this because it allows you to have latency free recording.

I am also thinking about downloading the demos for Studio One and FL Studio and creating videos on how to set them up with it as well.
Luna uad pro#
I'm working on a video for how to setup Logic Pro X and will be posting it very soon. I created 2 videos one for how to setup up Reason and the other on how to setup Ableton. The magic thing that we have always wanted from computer recording that you could only get from buying a lot of expensive summing outboard gear and creating a very complicated setup. I am sooooo in love with this setup because it makes everything latency free. I figured out that most daws use a single pair of ports as a master which can be pointed to an input channel on an audio track. I saw that it took over the standard console so I started experimenting with inputs and outputs. I downloaded LUNA when it was released and immediately started looking at it from a technical stand point. UAD made LUNA deeply integrate with their hardware interfaces which means you can use it as a direct console replacement. Therefore, proceed at your own risk.I have been using LUNA as a direct console replacement with Reason and Ableton.
